Horrible shipping service!

I placed an order on July 28 (42872107) and received an email confirming my package would arrive Monday July 31. According to the tracking number provided, my package has been "out for delivery" since July 31 at around 8:36AM. It is Tuesday, August 1 and my package has not been delivered. The tracking number continues to say "out for delivery". I called the 877 at 5:40pm and they told me they had a problem with my address and that the carrier needed confimation. If no confirmation was received, the package must be sent back to the supplier. So if I don't call to ask where my package is, no one confirms my address and I sit here waiting for my pet's food to arrive?! I didn't receive a phone or an email saying there was a problem. The Petco representative even told me SHE confirmed the address. They didn't even ask me! I was placed on hold! Therefore, I had to go out and buy pet supplies locally because of how unreliable Petco is at delivering their orders. I asked the Petco representative if this was being delivered via UPS/ FEDEX/ or USPS and she tells me Petco uses its own carrier. Other pet suppliers use well known carriers for sure. I chose to have Petco online a try and I'm disappointed with their execution. hopefully my package arrives tomorrow... who knows... needless to say, what a disappointment

I placed an order four days ago. Still no update on whether it's shipped. My account says "in progress". Should say "not a lot of progress". I've been on a hold for a half hour waiting to speak to a customer representative. Time to hire some help. My next order will be with the completition.
