Looking for donations

Hi, my name is Nathan and first I'd like to say thank you for taking the time to read this, as it may be long and start off topic. I'm 30 years old. In 2004 I was in a car accident that left me paralyzed from the chest down. For the last 2 years I have been part of a research study through the University of Pittsburgh. I had surgery to implant 4 micro electrode arrays on my brain that I use to control a robotic arm, and receive sensation back from it.  I am the first human to ever have electrodes implanted in the sensory cortex. Here is a playlist of a few videos about this, including from when I met president Obama in October.

Now that I have introduced myself, I will get to the point of this post. I currently have a 75 gallon tank of African cichlids that is leaking and I will need to replace this tank and stand soon, most likely with a 90 gallon because I want to give the fish the best home I can afford, and I think that will be the biggest tank and stand I can afford on my own. I have emailed a bunch of companies regarding donations, and most haven't even replied. Aqueon actually replied but just told me to ask retailers. It also seems like the more places I look, the more grand my dream tank becomes. In a perfect world I think I would have a 120g 48x24x24 acrylic tank with a 3d background. Realistically I’ll be buying a 90g and new stand.  Does Petco ever consider discounts/donations like this for individuals? The website doesn't even list tanks of this size, I am also looking for a UV sterilizer though.

I thought somebody here might also know some contacts that I could reach out to. Maybe a few sellers/companies working together could get the financial burden of donating a tank/stand down to an acceptable level.

Thank you again for taking the time to read this. If you find the research study interesting, or know somebody that would, could you please share the previous link with them as well as this one? I’m currently trying to raise funds for a new wheelchair van, partly why I can’t spend as much as I'd like on fish stuff. Even if somebody can’t donate, sharing the link is still very helpful and appreciated.

Wow!!! your story is amazing keep being strong bro..I wish you the best during this research (hehe...I see you like anime too...guess what buddy so do I). Now going back to the fish tanks, I am not sure if Petco do stuff like this, but you can always try to ask them and see what they can do..there is some on Amazon and Petsmart but its around $500 and up, and I don't know if thats the type of price your looking for. hmm....I never used a UV sterilizer since I have a betta fish in a basic small tank but I had fish in the past and never required it. Anyways I think if you can commission people that build aquariums they probably will help you out fam, in fact I found these people that might help you out: check them out and they can probably help you out with the UV sterilizer. Good luck during your research....
